What’s Involved:
1. An initial meeting with our team so we can get an understanding of your property, your goals and any concerns that you have.
2. Giving notice to your current agent ensuring that you are meeting your obligations under your current management agreement. We can help you check your notice period at the initial consult.
3. Once the agent has acknowledged your notice, we will contact them to arrange the collection of the tenant files, keys, inspection reports and the compliance documents.
4. Once the file is received, we will contact the tenants to introduce ourselves, confirm our trust account details and ensure that they feel supported and comfortable through the transfer to our management.
5. We will complete a compliance review, make sure your smoke alarm servicing is up to date, go through maintenance history & lease terms to ensure you are up to date with your legal obligations. We will also arrange a ‘welcome’ visit with the tenants to ensure that all concerns have been addressed and resolved.
